Remote Viewing & Mobile App Troubleshooting FAQ
Why can’t I view my cameras remotely?
Confirm the NVR or DVR has an active internet connection, verify cloud or P2P status is online, and restart the recorder and router if needed.
Why does the mobile app show my device as offline?
Check the recorder’s network connection, confirm the correct gateway and DNS settings, and make sure the device is still linked to the correct app account.
Why can I view cameras on Wi-Fi but not on cellular data?
Check that cellular data is enabled for the app, verify the recorder is online for remote access, and test the connection from another network.
Why is live view not loading in the app?
Verify the camera channels are online, reduce video quality if the connection is slow, restart the app, and confirm the recorder has a stable internet connection.
Why am I not receiving motion notifications?
Check that push notifications are enabled in the app and phone settings, confirm motion detection is enabled, and verify the correct notification schedule.
Why can’t I log in to the camera app?
Confirm the username and password, check that you are using the correct account or server region, and reset the password if necessary.
